12 1/2" x 12 1/2" Non-Slip Ruler. Use vertical, horizontal & diagonal lines to square up any 12 1/2 inch pieced, appliqued & embroidered block. Exceptional quality. Easy-to-read black & white circled markings allow for great accuracy and easy viewing on both light and dark fabric. The extra 1/2 inch on two adjacent sides makes it especially convenient to accurately cut fabric with the seam allowance included. One-inch grid with 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch increments. 30, 45, and 60 degree angles. Turn a Round feature. Embedded Gripper Dots hold fabric while cutting. They are easy to use, and cutting is a breeze thanks to the non-slip circles on the back. Press down lightly on the ruler, and the non-slip circles grip the fabric. Yet, when you are not pressing down the ruler, it will slide easily over the fabric.

Like Quilting, Love this ruler

I ordered this ruler after reading a book on Reversible Quilts by Sharon Pederson. The ruler is a nice design and is easy to read and stays on the fabric when cutting.

Great for quilting

Creative Grids has small lines for greater accuracy, and it's hash-marked all along so you can line up multiple places on the cut line. This can cut small squares up to 12 1/2 inch without moving the ruler. I ruined a lot of large squares trying to move the ruler to finish my cut - I'm a new quilter. This will eliminate that. Plus it has the non-slip rough spots that help hold it to the fabric while you cut. Best brand to use. And they recommend using the same manufacturer for all cuts once you start a pattern.

Best ruler I ever used

I used to use the Omni rulers but found I couldn't see the lines because of the yellow markings on the lines. then I tried a Creative Grid ruler and at once felt in control of the cutting. Love these rulers. I've replaced all my omni rulers with creative grid. Had an omnigrip 12.5 inch square and couldn't see a thing underneath it. I borrowed the Creative Grid 12.5 inch square ruler and was able to cut my blocks perfectly. I highly recommend all Creative Grid rulers.
