These are hardly 6mm

I use pipe cleaners in the thousands in my business and these are hardly 6mm. I compared these in width to FOUR other company's 6mm pipe cleaners and these were visibly smaller than every single one of them. I measured the "fur" length myself and I read them as 4mm pipe cleaners. Coincidently Amazon *does* sell 4mm bulk packs, it makes me wonder if I was shipped the 4mm stems instead of the 6mm as advertised here. They were quite a disappointment, had I not needed them immediately I would've returned them.

The only good thing about this was the colors were pre-sorted so I didn't have go pick through a thousand just to get the colors I needed. The shipping was free via my Prime account and it was on time. These 2 reasons give this product its 2-star review. The other 3 stars were lost on product description, product quality, and because it's annoying to deal with inferior products.

In short, I would not recommend.

Great product, but box is BIG!

I was surprised by how big this box was once I received it. I guess I should have paid more attention to the description. However, over the years we will get good use of these. The color selection is great. My only complaint, and this is with all pipe cleaners I've found so far, is that the ends of the wires are pretty sharp. Accordingly, I recommend close supervision if a little one is playing with these. I've also discovered that they are quite popular with the family cats. :-)
